Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner- Outpatient & Office Based - Manhattan

An innovative and well respected mental health agency is seeking a Full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Manhattan. The practitioner will work Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm, with no nights, weekends, or call. They will work 2 days per week with an ACT team and 3 days per week in an office based setting, providing clinical services to seriously mentally ill clients.

Requirements

• Conduct Psychiatric Assessments and Evaluations
• Prescribe, Monitor, and Administer Psychotropic Medications
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients
• Participate in clinical case conferences, team meetings, High Risk conferences, quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice implementation, and policy/procedure development
• Complete all clinical documentation via an Electronic Health Record
• Complete all administrative paperwork required
