Packaging Engineer

Ollie is looking for a Packaging Engineer to lead the packaging lifecycle for new product launches, optimize material portfolio, and ensure high standards of quality, structural integrity, and sustainability. The role requires expertise in material science and commercialization, and will be instrumental in ensuring innovative, environmentally responsible, and cost-efficient packaging solutions.

Requirements

• Lead the packaging workstream for New Product Launches
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into high-performance packaging
• Analyze member feedback and performance data to identify and execute re-engineering projects
• Develop and refine material specifications in collaboration with FSQA and R&D
• Incorporate eco-friendly materials and waste-reduction strategies into all new and existing projects
• Identify and implement high-impact cost savings projects through material optimization
• Travel between fulfillment centers and supplier sites to verify packaging performance
