Maintenance Technician(Industrial-2nd shift)

Olympic Steel is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support continuous improvement initiatives and improve safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an industrial maintenance position, steel service-center experience accepted
• Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, automation, and hydraulics concepts preferred
• Ability to read manufacturing equipment drawings and electrical and plumbing schematics
• Ability to inspect material for quality using measuring devices and drawings
• Strong knowledge and ability to use hand tools and welding tools, as well as troubleshoot electrical systems
• Flexibility of work schedule
• Working knowledge of general computer programs
