SQL Developer

Role Overview

Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated SQL Developer to support ongoing operations in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL programming, relational database design, and performance tuning, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views. Optimize existing queries and database structures for improved performance and scalability. Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Skilled with building systems to system and systems to SQL integrations using the Microsoft technology stack: SSIS,.NET for custom API integrations, Azure Data Factory, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum eight (8) years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Strong background in relational database management systems
• Proven expertise in query optimization and database performance tuning
• Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting tools
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business terms
• U.S. Citizenship
• Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a drug and breath alcohol test, along with a Motor Vehicle Record check
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
