Omni Design Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to develop and grow our IP Licensing and ASIC business in the US Western Region. The successful candidate will deliver on revenue, gross margin, and design win goals, while developing strong relationships with senior-level managers at target accounts.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- US National or visa authorization for U.S. employment
- High-energy and self-driven with strong ability to take ownership of customer relationships, solve issues, and coordinate solutions with customers
- Team player with excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong project management and negotiating skills
- Experience in Semiconductor; Design, Sales, Customer Engagement, or Field Applications Engineering
- Practical experience selling; semiconductors, IP, foundry services or ASIC
- Proven success in penetrating and developing relationships with new accounts
- Experience with Analog and Mixed Signal, ASIC, or SoC Technologies
- Experience in detailed forecasting and sales opportunity funnel management
- Target-oriented, with a track record in sales growth combined with excellent customer satisfaction
- Working knowledge of salesforce.com or equivalent and other common software
- Excellent presentation skills. Comfortable presenting to large groups of technical and business personnel
- Strong semiconductor industry network with pre-existing executive relationships
- Good knowledge base and industry background in some of the following areas: semiconductors, wireless/wireline communications, Lidar, Radar, automotive semiconductors
