Associate Editor

Remedy Edge is a global healthcare communications network that aims to make creativity and creative technology a force for urgent health impact. They are seeking an Associate Editor to support the overall quality and factual accuracy of assigned materials. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field and knowledge of AMA Style.

Requirements

• Serve as a support editor on assigned brand(s) and provide backup for other editors as necessary
• Gain familiarity with the therapeutic area, drug profile, primary reference material/data, indication, core claims, and client particulars for assigned brand(s)
• Perform sense & spell reads, first and second reads, factchecking, and correction checks/toggles of materials
• Work closely with other editors, account executives, copywriters, art directors, and other team members to ensure materials are of the highest quality
• Work proactively with project management to communicate any issues on projects and brainstorm solutions
• Regularly review project timelines and hotsheets to ensure editorial steps are included

• Participate in department trainings and new initiatives
