Job Description
This role is for a Senior Staff CAD Engineer to support full-cycle chip design, both analog and digital. The engineer will collaborate with global CAD teams on design flow automation, promote and support unified EDA flow, and work closely with product developers to improve CAD tools. This position requires efficient scripting skills in languages like Perl, Python, or TCL.
Requirements
- BSEE and 8+ years of relevant experience on RTL2GDS design flow development
- Hands-on experience in Virtuoso platform, Calibre and timing closure
- Efficient scripting experience in Perl, Python, or TCL, C++, or Makefile
- Experience in supporting EDA flow for different design teams
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
