Job Description
Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) provide immediate lifesaving care to patients while awaiting additional EMS resources. EMRs transport patients, assist EMTs with client transport, and provide basic interventions. EMRs are vital for the EMS response and require training for basic first aid and ambulance operation. The position offers no prior experience, providing comprehensive training for all aspects of the role.
Requirements
- Enroll in an EMT class.
- Complete an EMT class prior to field training.
- Pass State criminal background check.
- Pass drug and alcohol testing program.
- Submit to BLS ambulance staffing requirements (minimum two certified EMTs).
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
