This role involves overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and timeliness, and leading the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. It also requires developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, as well as providing leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within accounting, with a background in a large accounting firm preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Intacct, etc).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
