Certified Nurse Midwife - South Denver OBGYN

We are searching for an outstanding Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at South Denver OBGYN and Midwives in Littleton and Castle Rock. The ideal candidate will have a strong team spirit and a passion for birth, and will be able to provide full-scope midwifery care, including independent management of women's health care, consultation, collaborative management, and referral to obstetrics, perinatology, and other specialties.

Requirements

• Provide full-scope midwifery care, including independent management of women's health care, focusing primarily on pregnancy, birth, postpartum, as well as family planning, gynecological, and primary care of women.
• Manage hospital labor assessment and admission, normal and abnormal labor, cervical ripening and labor induction, postpartum care and discharge.
• Perform vaginal birth and laceration repair, limited 1st trimester and 3rd trimester OB ultrasounds as appropriate to training and experience, C-section first surgical assist, and IUD and subdermal contraceptive implant insertion and removal.
• Maintain medical records according to community standards of practice.
