Senior Principal Digital IC Design Engineer job description: Lead project activities, architect and specify MCU and DSP systems, consult product integration teams, and contribute to design methodology improvements.
Requirements
- Strong ability to translate specifications to microarchitecture
- Strong understanding of core digital design concepts
- Proficiency in Verilog/Systemverilog
- Familiarity with tools like Lint, CDC, RDC, DC (Design Compiler)
- Experience with standard interfaces (APB, AHB, AXI, SPI, I2C, DMA)
- Experience in MCU/CPU subsystems (ARM processor)
- Experience in design techniques (pipelining, low latency, power optimization)
- Experience in technical documentation (specification, design, waveform)
- Scripting/Automation languages (Python, PERL)
- Ability to mentor younger engineers and lead small projects
