The Supply and Inventory Planner is responsible for proposing and maintaining internal and external inventory targets, coordinating allocation and EOL processes, and working with the Demand and Capacity Planning team to constrain the URDP during the S&OP process. They must balance service level, forecast accuracy, and inventory, and manage lead time by providing recommendations based on system-calculated LT and market trends.
Requirements
- Serve as the BU supply interface and coordinate with demand planning counterparts
- Manage the Iron Triangle – balancing service level, forecast accuracy, and inventory
- Oversee wafer starts and make final decisions on starts
- Plan, manage, and set targets for inventory and build category
- Coordinate the allocation process
- Execute product transfers per BU, manage suggested EOL devices
- Drive strategic builds and factory filler
- Manage lead time
- Provide BOQ supply input/coordination
- Advocate for BU and drive supply reviews and PAL2 and Division levels
