Painter

Painter responsible for tending and operating machines or using brushes and spray equipment to apply paint, enamel, lacquer, or other non-metallic protective and decorative coatings to surfaces of various products. Prepares surface for painting, knows how to treat different surfaces, and adapts to new methods and equipment.

Requirements

• Certificate of Qualification 310B Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer
• Apprenticeship program or equivalent of eight years of practical and general experience
• Secondary School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
• Available for shift work
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
