Job Description
The Farmer Engagement and Research Liaison is a full-time position at the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA) responsible for supporting research programs, engaging with farmers and stakeholders, and facilitating the transfer of research outcomes.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in an agricultural or environmental-related field
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong understanding of agricultural operations, environmental and economic farm sustainability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft applications, data visualization software, and digital survey-management programs
