Job description
Join Ontic's Chatsworth, CA site as a Test Engineer, reporting to the Test Engineering Manager. The team specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. The role involves designing, building, and assessing test equipment and products to ensure proper functionality.
Design, build, and assess test equipment and products. Ensure production test equipment runs smoothly and prevent costly breakdowns or malfunctions. Develop functional test plans and create Labview code and GUI from scratch.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in electronics, electromechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics fields, with experience in automating test equipment and measurement techniques using Labview. Familiarity with National Instruments platforms and instrumentation, interfaces, and sensors is also required.
