Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Senior Infrastructure Engineer position at Onventis, responsible for modernizing and scaling the company's infrastructure as it transitions services from on-prem to Microsoft Azure. The role involves designing and building reliable, secure, and cost-efficient platforms, as well as implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and release engineering pipelines.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering roles with production ownership
• Cloud expertise across compute, service migration, storage, identity, security, and governance with a strong focus on Kubernetes Platform for Orchestration
• IaC mastery: Terraform (preferred) or Bicep
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions for multistage deployments, environment strategies, and approvals
• Containers & Orchestration: K8s and AKS (cluster design, node pools, autoscaling, ingress, service mesh, Kong and Helm)
• Observability: Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, or Open Telemetry
• Coding, Scripting & Automation: Strong in Power Shell and/or Python; Experience with.net/C# family and bash familiarity
• Networking: Solid grasp of VNETs, subnets, peering, routing, load balancing, private endpoints, DNS, and hybrid connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute)
• Security-first mindset: IAM, RBAC, least privilege, secrets management, image scanning, patching, and vulnerability remediation
