Rust Software Engineer

Onyx Capital Group is seeking a Rust Software Engineer to join their Sri Lanka engineering hub. The role involves taking full ownership of features end-to-end, from design through delivery and into production, and powering live trading infrastructure used by demanding market participants.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years in a software engineering role; track record of delivering production-quality features independently
• Solid Rust proficiency
• Strong systems programming fundamentals
• Test-Driven Development discipline
• Automation mindset
• REST API experience
• Source control and CI/CD experience
• Experience working in cloud-hosted environments
• Strong sense of personal ownership
• Comfortable engaging directly with remote end users and business stakeholders
• Highly self-motivated with a bias for action
