Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Financial Modeller to join our team in Madrid or Sevilla. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in advanced financial modeling and will be responsible for developing and managing integrated HoldCo-level financial models, leading NAV Financing modeling, and structuring and analyzing U.S. Tax Equity transactions.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in financial modeling within renewable energy IPPs, infrastructure/energy funds, or investment banking / project finance
- Proven hands-on experience in HoldCo and NAV financing models, renewable assets (BESS, solar, wind), greenfield and brownfield projects, and U.S. Tax Equity structures
- Advanced Excel proficiency, with strong capabilities in complex model structuring and auditing
- Solid understanding of Project Finance vs. HoldCo Finance, key financial metrics (IRR, NPV, DSCR, LLCR), and cash waterfalls and covenant packages
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Experience with international, multi-technology renewable energy portfolios
- Knowledge of corporate PPAs, merchant exposure, and capacity/ancillary service markets (especially for BESS)
- Experience using Python, VBA, Power BI, or financial automation tools
