Job Description
AspenTech is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to support project delivery as part of our Generation Management System (GMS) Team. The role requires deep knowledge of power systems analysis and computer programming, as well as experience working with electric utility generation operation, unit controls, and optimization.
Requirements
- BS degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering including completion of one or more Power Systems courses
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Superior organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites
- Strong commitment to providing superior customer service
