Power Systems Engineer

As a Power Systems Engineer at AspenTech, you will be involved in the successful delivery of systems to customers, designing, building, configuring, troubleshooting, and testing the deployment of our systems. You will have broad exposure to the entire Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) and work across functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience
• 2+ years of experience in a similar Application Engineering role
• Understanding of Electric Distribution Power Systems and modeling
• Programming and scripting experience (C/python)
• Database and data structure knowledge and experience
• Strong experience troubleshooting complex systems and software applications
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize work within tight timelines
