Sr Principal Power Systems Engineer

The Sr Principal Power Systems Engineer will lead and mentor engineers in delivering complex designs that meet customer specifications, providing technical expertise and engineering leadership for current products and future product development opportunities across power grids.

Requirements

• Train, develop, and lead the Power Systems engineering team
• Design, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems for electric utilities
• Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements
• Communicate detailed requirements to internal departments
• Work directly with customers and remote engineering team members to understand requirements and communicate project plans
• Perform customer training and consult on power system modeling
• Assist in creating project and product documentation
• Perform unit testing and tuning
• Support live customer systems
• Stay up to date with the latest industry standards and trends
