Job Description
We are seeking an experienced product designer to craft the scientific product experiences of today and tomorrow. Design plays a critical role here. You’ll create products that are intuitive, elegant, and ambitious, and that push the boundaries of what AI-native tools can do for scientists and researchers.
Requirements
- Contribute to the overall design and product direction of OpenAI products for science.
- Design and ship high-quality products and improvements, from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes and visuals.
- Partner closely with engineering, product management, AI research, and design peers to define product experiences and bring them to life.
- Engage in user research to better understand how scientists and researchers work across domains, and use those insights to refine our products.
- Contribute to and evolve our design system.
- Help establish our design culture and grow our team.
- Take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them to practical, high-quality solutions.
