Field Technician

Within the field services department, the incumbent’s primary responsibility is to ensure the installation and commissioning of OPTEL systems at client sites, maintenance, training, and technical support to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

• College diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge in computer science and electronics
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industries (asset)
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong client orientation and solid teamwork skills
• Resourcefulness, adaptability, versatility, and flexibility
• Availability to travel approximately three weeks per month
• Valid driver’s license and passport
• High curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence
