Job Description
Optima Dermatology is recruiting a part-time Medical Assistant to join their Patient Care Team as a remote/hybrid Medical Care Coordinator. The role will provide world-class customer service to patients and community members, answering calls, attending to voicemails, and supporting patient needs within their scope of practice.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified, Registered, or licensed Medical Assistant
- 2 years' experience in a medical office practice
- Experience with ModMed (EMA) or similar EMR
- Excellent time management skills and ability to adjust priorities
- Knowledge of sales/sales experience
- Prior dermatology/ medical aesthetics experience
- A minimum of two years' customer service/ patient support experience
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office programs
