Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN/PNP/PMNP)

OptiMindHealth (OMH) is a growing multistate mental health and wellness practice comprised of dedicated physicians, psychologists, clinical social workers, and advanced practice nurses. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP/PMNP) at OMH is responsible for providing psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to a range of clients presenting with various behavioral health issues.

Requirements

• Conducts therapy, medication assessments, and comprehensive intake evaluations for new and existing clients.
• Provides consultation and health education support to patients and families, as well as other clinical care team members, as required.
• Maintains documentation of services including service plans, progress notes, medication informed consent, quarterly treatment plan reviews, and other required information in compliance with practice and third-party compliance standards.
• Receives medical supervision from psychiatric consultants consistent with applicable standards and scope of practice.
• Completes other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor that are consistent with the responsibilities of the position.
