Job Description
The Compounding Pharmacy Technician I works under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate, and smooth compounding operations, assisting with medication preparation and dispensing, and maintaining pharmacy surfaces and equipment.
Requirements
- Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies
- Prepare medications for accurate compounding
- Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations
- Accurately label and package medications
- Participate in medication incident assessment, management, and reporting
- Maintain pharmacy surfaces and equipment
