Job Description
As a US Treasuries Trader at Optiver, you will take a leading role in trading and risk-managing US Treasuries across multiple venues. You’ll drive macro trading strategies by taking positions and analyzing macroeconomic data, policy shifts, and cross-asset flows to uncover and capitalize on short- and medium-term market opportunities.
Requirements
- Trade and manage risk across US Treasuries and related instruments, leveraging Optiver’s proprietary pricing models and infrastructure.
- Quote and execute orders for institutional counterparties while ensuring tight, competitive pricing and efficient hedging.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, developers, and other traders to continuously refine pricing models, execution algorithms, and trading strategies.
- Monitor macroeconomic data releases, policy developments and cross-asset flows to identify and act on short and medium term trading opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with market participants to deepen Optiver’s presence in the US treasury ecosystem.
- Contribute to strategic development of new trading products and markets in the US Treasury space.
