Counselling/Psychology Instructor

We are seeking a Counselling/Psychology Instructor to join our team of education professionals at the Vancouver College of Counselling Training (VCCT). As a Instructor, you will play a critical role in supporting our adult learners as they work toward achieving their educational and career goals. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, student-centered education across all modes of delivery (on-campus, online, hybrid, and self-paced formats).

Requirements

• Masters degree in Education (M.Ed.) or Arts (M.A.) from a recognized Canadian institution (equivalent international degrees will be considered)
• Bachelor in Counselling / Psychology
• Current Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC)
• At least 5 years of counselling experience
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and learner engagement
• High level of IT literacy, including proficiency with Learning Management Systems (preferably Canvas), Microsoft Teams and online communication tools
• Ability to troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both in-person and virtual settings
• Must be located within the Vancouver area, with a reliable form of transportation, or planning to relocate before start date
