Network Engineer 1/2/3 position at BHE GT&S's White Oaks General Office Building location in Bridgeport, WV, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing OT network solutions, mentoring staff, and coordinating with vendors.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and optimize operational technology (OT) network solutions
• Serve as a technical authority for routing, switching, network segmentation, and access design
• Define, develop, and enforce network architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices
• Architect and advance network automation frameworks
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies
• Provide escalation support for complex or high‐impact network incidents
• Monitor network performance trends and proactively identify risks, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities
• Manage and prioritize network ticket queues and work orders
• Coordinate, plan, and execute network lifecycle activities
• Lead the operational execution of network changes
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Network Engineer 1 and 2 staff
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers
• Participate in on‐call rotations and oversee complex after‐hours maintenance activities
• Perform additional duties and engineering responsibilities as assigned
