Principal Member of Technical Staff

We're looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, and highly available services. As a Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will own the software design and development for major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with distributed systems within large-scale environments
• Proficient in Java, C, or C++ and experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc.
• Experience working on large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure
• Experience working in an operational environment with mission-critical tier-one livesite servicing
• Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drive
