Principal Software Developer

As a Principal Software Developer at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will provide technical leadership in designing, architecting, and delivering greenfield cloud services and platforms from inception to production at global scale.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• More than 6 years' of experience delivering distributed, mission-critical cloud services at large scale
• Strong experience with high-concurrency systems
• Cloud platform expertise (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP), programming (Python, Java), DevOps & automation, networking, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), security, virtualization, database management, and understanding concepts like Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong team player with outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with complex, swiftly evolving software development environments
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and drive, follow, evangelize, and improve cross-team processes
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Work experience in startups or fast-paced enterprise technology development environments is a plus
• Demonstrates strong mentorship abilities
