Senior Director of Power Generation Operations (Nashville, TN)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Director of Power Generation Operations to lead and oversee primary and secondary generation systems at U.S. data center sites. The role will be responsible for developing and executing methods and procedures to ensure continuous protection of compute load, partnering with operations training teams, and managing power plant agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in power generation operations, with 5+ years in a leadership or senior director-level capacity
• Deep knowledge of primary and secondary on-site power generation technologies and their integration into mission-critical facilities
• Proven expertise in developing MOPs to manage compute load protection and ramp rate adherence
• Strong background in building effective training, repair, and preventive maintenance programs
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing complex power plant or energy-related agreements
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
