We are seeking a Regional Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive health, safety, and industrial hygiene programs to protect employees, contractors, and assets across the site. The role ensures compliance with internal standards and OSHA and other regulatory requirements, leads incident investigations and continuous improvement efforts, and serves as the site-wide subject matter expert for safety, industrial hygiene, and risk management.
Requirements
- Provide regional coaching and leadership to operations across Louisiana, Texas, and Wisconsin, reinforcing strong safety accountability and performance.
- Lead the implementation of Orbia safety standards, guidance, and best practices, ensuring consistent application across all assigned sites.
- Develop, implement, and maintain regional and site-specific safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and behavioral safety programs.
- Conduct facility safety inspections, fleet audits, and HSE audits, ensuring corrective actions are identified, implemented, and verified.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, Louisiana, and other applicable federal, state, and local HSE regulations, and communicate regulatory changes to leadership.
- Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive action tracking, including OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
- Analyze HSE performance metrics, trends, and leading indicators to develop and execute strategic safety improvement plans.
- Develop and coordinate HSE training programs, including hazard communication, material handling, ergonomics, powered industrial trucks, defensive driving, hot work, confined space, and fleet safety.
