Postdoctoral Fellow

This is a full-time postdoctoral position in the Vollum Institute at Oregon Health & Science University. The successful candidate will conduct research exploring the molecular and cellular mechanisms of synaptic transmission between neurons using electrophysiology and/or calcium imaging.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in neuroscience or biophysics
• Direct experience in studies of neurons, synapses, and/or brain circuits
• Knowledge and experience with computational and cellular techniques
• Experience with manuscript preparation and writing skills for individual projects and statistical analysis of data
