Postdoctoral Scholar

The Department of Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to join Dr. Juan Piantino's lab within the Papé Family Pediatric Research Institute. The lab focuses on the biological mechanisms linking sleep disturbances to cognitive function and recovery from brain injury in humans.

Requirements

• PhD in Neuroscience or related field
• Experience collecting and analyzing biomarker data
• Background in biomarkers, neuroimaging, traumatic brain injuries, and sleep
• Strong independent writing and speaking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., Stata) and neuroimaging software (e.g., FreeSurfer)
