Postdoctoral Scholar

The Postdoctoral Scholar position at the OHSU Center for Embryonic Cell and Gene Therapy involves conducting cutting-edge research on gene correction in gametes and preimplantation embryos using advanced genome editing approaches. The successful candidate will design and execute experiments, collect and analyze complex datasets, and prepare manuscripts for publication.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, Stem Cell Biology, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing genome editing strategies
• Proven experience in comprehensive on-target and off-target analyses of gene editing outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities
