Job Description
Oregon Humane is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant II to work in their Shelter Medicine department. The role will involve providing compassionate care for patients, handling individual animals, and maintaining a clean and organized medical environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience providing direct care to animals in a veterinary medicine center or animal shelter environment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- 2-5 years related work experience providing direct care to animals in a veterinary medicine center or in an animal shelter environment
- Hold or obtain Radiology Safety Certification within one year from the date of hire
