OregonTool APAC is looking for an experienced Product Manager, APAC to lead the organization to drive short- and long-term growth of product line revenue and profitability. The person will be responsible for refining the regional product portfolio, new product development, and overall business performance of the product portfolio.
Requirements
- Refine Regional Product Portfolio to deliver revenue target.
- Assess current global offering for quick win additions to regional mix.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities and develop corresponding marketing/product strategies.
- Build business cases to drive projects to grow APAC region via product line extensions and/or new product development.
- Alongside local procurement, execute approved business cases unique to the APAC region - ensuring product is set up and launched in regional portfolio.
- Provides product management team competitive insights and recommendations for roadmap.
- Competitive analysis with pricing for regional portfolio
- Ownership in leading NPD project execution within APAC
- Acumen to catch growth trends of relevant products across APAC and be a soundboard to articulate these growth opportunities with the team
- Able to articulate clearly the growth opportunities whilst balancing the needs of both products & sales teams and be the focal point between both teams
- Focused and impactful to only filter and pursue top 25% of all opportunities and not go after every shiny object
- Able to work cohesively with APAC marketing to create impactful product launches
- Regular visits to the field with sales to understand VOC
- Supporting Marketing function to ensure customer showrooms are optimized for OT branded initiatives.
- Support Sales team to Identify & execute regional promotional campaigns to drive growth.
- Collect market feedback and sales data, provide regular marketing reports, and provide market analysis
- Create a unified platform for content, media, A&P material sharing for all APAC distributors
- Regular touchpoints via Teams or F2F visits with all regional distributors & their marketing to create consistent streamlined content aligned to global corporate directive and with context relevant to local markets.
- Foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork with internal and external customers; ensure clarity and alignment on marketing plans
- Participate in cross-functional efforts to build stronger capabilities
- Recommend and implement process improvements
