Requirements
- Meet territory sales target.
- Monitor competitive activities and organize adequate reporting.
- Provide product training/demonstration to distributors, dealers, and end-users as required.
- Promote Oregon Tool products and participate in technical clinics and field days.
- Gather product warranty claims in the field and report.
- Monitor field inventories.
- Maintain an awareness of the business climate for our industry and products.
- Promote brand awareness of Oregon Tool's products.
- Upgrade product technical/application information for local market.
- Recommend and implement product promotion opportunities as appropriate.
- Recommend required sales aids to get the job done right.
- Ensure that the company’s assets are responsibly maintained and safely taken care of.
- Observe expense budget and corporate travel & entertainment policy’s guidelines.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
- Resolves customer complaints.
- Maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
