Techincal Team Lead, Software Engineer

We are an energetic, vibrant, adventurous global company looking for a Team Leader of the BI and Analytics tribe to lead cross-functional team members and drive collaborative decision-making. The ideal candidate will have technical skills in software development, experience working as a technical team leader, and a solid background in Agile framework.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Software Development experience (JAVA/Scala)
• Previous experience working as a technical team leader in a software company
• Experience in designing/building enterprise software systems
• Confidence to contribute to the Architecture & Design of building a solution
• Experience with Big Bata Technologies – Apache SPARK, Elastic search is an advantage
• Experience with Standard BI Tools is a bonus
• Solid background utilizing an Agile framework (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban, SAFe) in software development.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement
• Work across multiple stakeholders to reveal and remove impediments
• Prioritize and drive the team to achieve goals
• Experience in growing and mentoring software engineering teams
• Creating personal development plans for the team members and help them achieve these objectives.
• Previous experience recruiting software development talent
