Job Description
This is an on-site position for a X-ray Technologist, responsible for operating radiography and fluoroscopic equipment. The role involves patient preparation, equipment maintenance, image quality, safety adherence, and assisting with imaging exams. The position requires flexibility to handle fluctuating needs and occasional overtime.
Requirements
- Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
- Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards.
- Reads patients’ charts and relays physician orders to other staff members.
- Maintains radiographic files.
- Complies with OSHA and HIPAA.
- Cleans and maintains radiographic equipment.
- Performs imaging exams.
