Certified Surgical Technologist (36+ Hours)

Certified Surgical Technologist (36+ Hours) Position Description: Assist in patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and according to the policies and procedures of the department. Assist with room turnover, reprocessing instruments, and thorough cleaning of OR storage cabinets and supply room.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Completion of a recognized surgical technologist training program, required
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with processing/sterilizing surgical instruments
• Valid DORA registration with the State of Colorado. Must have proof of registration and be in good standing
• Surgical Technologist certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology, preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Core competencies in dependability, quality, organization, communication, teamwork, and confidentiality
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willing to travel to multiple locations.
