We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Orthopaedic Spine Team. The ideal candidate will have formal training and certification from an accredited physician assistant program, and prior experience in clinical and surgical spine orthopaedic care. The Physician Assistant will assist the orthopaedic spinal surgeon in patient care and provide efficient care of patients.
Requirements
- Formal training from an accredited physician assistant program
- Certification by the NCCPA
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Colorado
- Prior clinical and surgical spine orthopaedic experience preferred
- Current ACLS or BLS
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative to provide the best, most efficient care possible
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of the specialized practice demanding the very highest level of spine care possible
- Ability and desire to continue to learn and to be seen as a spine expert over time
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient or able to quickly learn the organization’s SRS and imaging systems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, customers, management, medical staff, visitors and patients
- Appearance and personal conduct are professional at all times
- Performs all duties in a timely and efficient manner
