As an Orvis Retail Fishing Manager, you will support the Store Manager in recruiting, developing, and encouraging the team of associates to inspire customers to love the adventure and wonder in nature. You will oversee all aspects of the fly-fishing department and deliver world-class customer service.
Requirements
- Empower your team to deliver world-class customer service through empathy, critical thinking, and customer centricity
- Have in-depth knowledge of our products and services and serve as point person for training fly fishing associates on technical product knowledge, rigging, and instruction
- Communicate the Orvis brand and its lifestyle through creative and effective presentations, maintain visual standards, and maximize sell-thru by product placement and signage
- Recruit, develop, train, and coach associates who are bought into the company’s vision and mission, and create a pathway for growth
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workspace by following all safety policies and procedures
