Director, Public Affairs

Oscar is hiring a Director, Public Affairs to lead the development of external campaigns and coalitions strategy. The role requires a strategic thinker with experience in government affairs, stakeholder management, and coalition building. The Director will work remotely from Washington, D.C. and report to the VP, Government Affairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years experience in fast-paced government affairs or stakeholder management environments at the state and/or federal level
• 5+ years experience providing strategic counsel to senior policy executives and C-Suite members
• Experience building or managing a national coalition, trade association, or multi-company advocacy initiative
• Existing relationships with key coalitions, federal legislators, executive branch officials, and national health policy stakeholders
