Job Description
Bedford Ready Mix is a large concrete supplier in the Halifax Regional Municipality, operating as a part of the OSCO Concrete Group since 1985. They offer residential and industrial projects, and maintain a large fleet of concrete pumps including a boom pump. The Class 3 Pump Operator role involves operating concrete pumps and delivering ready-mix concrete to construction sites.
Requirements
- Driver’s license (Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Previous experience operating boom truck and/or hydraulic equipment
- Excellent customer relations
- Excellent hand/eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
