The role is responsible for delivering strong safety leadership across all levels of the organization, conducting safety orientations, conducting site inspections, recommending corrective actions, and facilitating regular toolbox talks.
Requirements
- Three to five years of related safety experience, ideally within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of safety legislated requirements in applicable jurisdictions
- Professional safety designation (CSS, CSO, NCSO, CRSP) would be considered an asset
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
- Effective communication with management and peers
- A detail-oriented focus with strong analytical expertise
- Self-Starter with the ability to work towards success with minimal supervision
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills coupled with proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
