Assembler Technician

Assembler Technician assembles mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components to produce industrial assemblies conforming to product and customer specifications using hand tools, powered tools and material handling equipment. The role involves using and interpreting blueprints, product specifications and technical specifications, troubleshooting and problem solving assembly challenges, and working as part of a team to achieve daily production goals in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED)
• 5+ years’ experience with medium/heavy mechanical assembly
• Demonstrated performance of thorough understanding of blueprints and technical documentation
• Ability to operate mechanical and electrical tooling
• Attention to detail, quality and safety
• Ability to use judgment to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures
• Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
