The Engineering Technician will support senior technicians and engineers in ergonomic, safety, quality, and process improvements on the line through observation and hands-on interaction with the operators, following appropriate engineering procedures, standards, and specifications.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma with three (3) years of experience in engineering or equivalent
- Associate’s degree with three (3) years of experience in engineering or equivalent
- EPA Section 608 Certification – Stationary refrigeration and air conditioning
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical terms
- Experience in rigging and crane use
- Certified forklift operator currently or in the past
- Air conditioning system brazing experience and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, government regulations and procedure manuals
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with power tools and common machining equipment (Lathe, Mill, Drill press, Band Saw, etc...)
- Drafting skills or 2D/3D AutoCad experience
