Job Description
Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Machine Repair Technician I to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment
- Observe devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate and diagnose causes of trouble
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
- Examine form and tester of parts to detect imperfections
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
- Repair or replaces defective parts
- Install special functional and structural parts in devices
- Start and operate devices to test their performance
- Lubricate and clean parts
- Repair electrical systems, including control systems
- Weekly and Daily cleaning of customer equipment
- Perform preventative, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance
